NFL vs College

Here is a new question. What if they took the worst player at each position in the league. That means the whole roster not just starters, and it would probably be all rookies.

Maybe a usual year, but I bet the 2001 Hurricanes could beat the worst players in the 2002 NFL Draft at least one out of three.

They could probably make a game of it.

I feel like they would make a game out of it for maybe a quarter. The Canes had a running back stable better than any current NFL team, but their offensive line wouldn't be able to stand up to the usual NFL D-lines. Dorsey has already proven he isn't good enough to be a real threat to NFL defenses. They'd still probably have a good enough to defense to slow some NFL teams down, at least for a little while.

The Canes offensive line could probably take the worst dlineman who got drafted in 2002. And The secondary could take the receivers, because it is pretty much all first rounders.

Again, I mentioned the thing about DeAngelo Hall. I think he was a top 10 pick. He mentioned that on his arrival in the NFL the practice team Falcons WR's completely dominated him. He said all those practice team scrubs were far better than anything he saw in college.

But I think DeAngelo Hall could take the Worst WR's to come out of the draft that same year. Not guys with any sort of experience.
