If those projections are close and we do, indeed, have Chucky on the way to K-town, it would be VERY wise for all of the above to stick around for a year. Bray, CP, and JH could all three crack the top-10 or 15, and McCullers might sneak into day 1 with some work.

I love how we see one guy play a couple games and then suddenly want someone whom we've never see play start. Worley has talent. He needs game time.

I remember in the first orange and white game when we had Simms and Bray. Simms looked great and Bray looked like a stick figure throwing a ball around.

We need to let Worley play. He didn't get Gatorade player of the year on accident and he certainly didn't throw for over 16,000 yards by mistake.

JMHO.

worley is a study freak, he is smart, he can throw, he isnt afraid to run to pick up some yards instead of chucking it out of bounds, he will be good here.

I won't be sad to see him leave. I personally don't want him to beat Peyton's records due to the fact that I don't want his ego to get any bigger.

Lets face it, he is NOT a good ambassador for UT. His attitude, leadership, and study habits (ie reading defense, identifying coverage, and checking at the line) leave a lot to be desired.

Has he ever checdked a play at the line without having to get he call from the sideline?

If Manning had played every game until the clock said 00:00 no one would be close to his records.

I am not a spelling police guy, but Juan James and Justin Whorely makes me laugh.

Who else is on the team?

Michael Palarty? Curt Maggot? Our punter Derr? Jamarcus Smith? Sterlin Marlin at RB? Rage On Neal? Antoinette Richardson? Ben Barfolomew? Zaquizz Rogers? Zaquizz Fulton?

I wish Bray luck on whatever decision he makes, and will pull for him at the next level. Good Luck TB!

Yeah...CP will never be an NFL WR...KR/PR but he has no idea how to run a pass route, he will get drafted based on his measurables alone...hunter is not 100%...he'd make a lot more money if he had a massive year next year. James ain't going anywhere, right tackles aren't in high demand...

hard for me to believe bray would go very high in the draft. My guess is he will be no better than 3rd string on some team.

they have bray as 7th in qb rankings 85th over. patterson 7th wr and 53rd overall. hunter is 5th wr and 43rd overall. IMO it would do them all good to stay for the senior yr but like i said its my opinion

NFL Draft - 2013 NFL Draft Prospects - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

I noticed that Lathers, Waggoner, Teague, & Rogers were projected as free agents. Also, Montari Hughes and DaRick Rogers were on the board.
However; I did not see Rivera on the board at all. Did I miss him or was he not on there???

Most U.T. records will remain intact. For instance, a few seasons ago, I thought A. Foster would get those 700 or so yards to beat T. Henry's record for most rushing yards by a U.T. r.b. He fell 67 yards short.

I thought E.B. would get a couple of more int's and more yardage to get the most return yards from interceptions in the NCAA but Kiffen used him in a way that he did not
get any more int's. Then he left for the NFL before his senior year.

I thought Fulmer would get those last 52 wins and pass the General but he was fired.....

Last season, I thought that Da Rick would get the 1,298 receiving yards in a single season to pass Meecham but he fell a few yards short.

This season, I thought Bray would get the 3,819 yards passing to pass Manning on the yards in a single season mark but he was 207 yards short. The Vandy game and also Hunter not catching the ball hurt him.

This season, I thought Bray would get the 36 passing t.d's in a single season to pass Manning but he had 32.
The touchdowns that Patterson had in the Missouri and again in the Vandy game that he scored but celebrated and got the t.d.'s taken away, cost Bray the record.

Honestly I think all of them are waiting on the coaching hire. They have a couple months to make the decision. Also NFL rookie contracts are not what they use to be. Part of the recent collective bargain agreement makes players drafted play for the big money. Long gone are days of 1st rounders bringing 80 mil, 50 guaranteed.

Bray will be no worse than a third round pick.

With a good interview and combine, he could get into the first round with his passing ability.

He would have challenged every passing record at UT had he had more than one full season of starting. Manning started every season for 4 years minus the Colquitt and Helton starts in 94.

I am not saying Bray is better than Manning, it's a different game and no one will ever touch Manning IMO but Bray could have put the numbers up given the opportunity.

Bray basically missed a full season due to injury combined with sitting behind Matt Simms half his freshman season.

Get off the kid's back because his team couldn't play defense against quality opponents.

I have a hard time believing he gets into the first round considering very few NFL coaches/owners wanna take a risk on a kid with a poor attitude as a franchise qb, however I completley agree with you. Bray has a defense this season to help him out he has 9-10 wins. Vols averaged 6 minutes less with the ball the season. Imagine it being a 32-28 vols top margin. Give the o another 2-3 drives per game and the possibilities are endless
