Was it just me or did OU's DB Nic Harris not look like one of the dirtiest players in college football in a years? Dude horse collared, face masked, speared (constantly led with his head), and even was pulling/twisting on Harvin's legs after a play was blown dead? This isn't mentioning the fact that alot of speak from some fans of other B12 pointed at him as doing that kind of stuff all year.

Was he also the one who got the facemask near the goal line that turned Demps head completely around?

Other Big 12 fans, especially the idiots from Missouri who were delusional to think their ragtag program was actually going to be worthwhile this year, bitch about everything OU for a simple reason: For the better part of the last 100 years, the Sooners have been kicking the living Hell out of them.

You're not usually that obtuse Hat.
Nothing obtuse about it. Simply saying that I give the same credence to Big 12 fans bitching about anything related to OU football that I give to SEC fans whining about Florida: None.

I mean, I guess if you can't beat them on the scoreboard, you might as well try to injure them and give yourself a better chance at winning.

Remind me again what penalty Harris was called for when he "twisted" Harvin's ankle.

remind me the last time a player got called for grabbing another players nuts in the pile and the other 500000 dirty things that go unnoticed in college football games.

Dirty plays go without penalties all the time. Doesn't mean it isn't a dirty play, nor that the player in question isn't dirty.

And I was pulling for Oklahoma to win.

Thus, proving my point. Harris did nothing that a myriad of other guys have done and will do in the future.

Didn't see this before I started the "Giving him the business" thread. There's your answer and it was the same ref from last night.

Never really pay attention to certain people's perspectives on this board, but you've had some awfully odd comments in the last few threads I've looked at.

Either you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, or you have a very skewed view of morality and ethics. You seem to view that anything goes on the football field, and that just because someone else does it, its ok for everyone to do it.

Sorry if you're having a bad day, even more sorry if this is actually your outlook on life.

Pulling Harvin's legs was the only dirty thing I saw. He certainly wasn't trying to get a 15 yard facemask penalty. And he didn't horse-collar the guy. It looked almost like it but he didn't have his hands under the pads. He had his hand on the top, back part of the jersey and was able to pull him down without it being a dirty play. With all of the trash talking going on, I was suprised that the game wasn't chippier.

Save your dimestore preaching for someone else.

My reading skills suck today, didn't read the last sentence of the OP.
