Pulling Harvin's legs was the only dirty thing I saw. He certainly wasn't trying to get a 15 yard facemask penalty. And he didn't horse-collar the guy. It looked almost like it but he didn't have his hands under the pads. He had his hand on the top, back part of the jersey and was able to pull him down without it being a dirty play. With all of the trash talking going on, I was suprised that the game wasn't chippier.

There is nothing dirty about a "horse collar tackle." Whether his hand is on his pads or inside of them, you are still grabbing a man by some part of his uniform (with exception of helmet) to violently put him on the ground. That is one of the dumbest rules in the game.

Yeah, that was about as dirty as the Florida DB leading with his helmet, on a defenseless WR, before the ball got there.

It is pretty dirty, when it's basically known for causing severe injuries.

How many guys did Roy Williams end their careers with it? 4, 5, 6, 7?

It's a necessary rule to prevent the most explosive players from constantly getting dragged down from behind and blowing out their knees. The offensive player has no way to protect themselves in that situation.

I think the number you're looking for there is 0.

No. I'm positive on Tyrone Calico at least, and basically Musa Smith. He had like 200 yards total after his return, and can't keep a job since.

There are more I'm not thinking of as well. Either way, besides career enders, he still broke several legs, tore ACLs, ..etc
