Nick Saban impacted by loss

Meh, they scored 49 points on us, and would've won the game if they hit a field goal. Let's not go overboard here.

If anything, it's complete abnormal for a coach to be as dominant as Saban has for most of the past decade.

They wouldn’t have been close if not for a bumbled hand off exchange, and a bad PI call in the endzone.

I think what gets missed here is that Heupel is outpacing coaches more so than they are slipping. If saban was slipping that day it was because his talent is not nearly as good as it has been. TBH neither is UGA's compared to last year. There is a reason UGA has a ton of young guys playing this year. The portal and NIL have changed the game.

If one guy catches five touchdown passes, Bear Bryant would have started double covering him.

Saban still hasn't figured it out.

Saban is not slipping. They were just beaten by a better team that day. He loses his best players and coordinates every year. He’s evolved his offense from ground and pound to a more spread type offense in the last few years. He is definitely not slipping. Tennessee was just better that day.

Yes!! By four, FOUR yards. They missed a field goal by two yards and we made one by two yards. Wouldn't it be ironic if we were to go on to be national champs? These plays and more especially our strange make, when place in historic context would stand next to "The fumble" play by Ark in Vol history.

Personally, I think we’re going to beat Georgia by double digits but Bama is going to recover from their loss to us and win the Natty.

I’ve felt all season that Georgia was a more winnable game than Alabama.

Yes, Saban lost to us for the first time ever but that doesn’t mean he’s all the sudden worse than Kirby. Let’s not forget that we beat them in maybe the most hostile environment Saban has ever coached in and they were still in position to beat us with a FG. His only mistake was leaving time on the clock for Heupel, IMO. Bama is still very, very good.
Still very very good and NOT good as us

No Bama fan but stuck in his ways?
LOL This guy sat down Hurts during a NC to start Tua. Not many coaches would have the balls to do that.
He went from heavy D team to a put lot of point on the board the board offense.
He even added a speed up offense to some of his game plan.
Guy is still a good coach, he just ran into a UT team that is well put together and can put points on the board quick
