Not an exact quote just going off what I heard him say on tv. Something like this:

"Some people say it's the plays you call, but it's the execution of the plays."

I'll let Saban speak for himself. :hi:

I agree with Saban but you have to coach your players to execute the plays correctly. Noticed a lot of guys out of position to make the play. It was most noticeable when our two receivers ran into each other on crossing routes.

this is very true. every play would be a great call if all 11 executed perfectly on every play. :)

When you have 4 and 5 star recruits at every position, three deep, it makes the plays look like they are executed perfectly every time. When you are having to scheme around so many deficiencies it makes the execution even that more critical.

If we ran for 400 yard I wouldn't complain. Play to our strengths, which is running the ball. We lost to florida because we didn't run enough and we almost lost yesterday.

They lost to UF because they had 6 TURNOVERS!! They almost lost to USA because of....duh duh daduh....TURNOVERS. Are you blind or not very smart?

Run the damn ball!!!! That should have been called more.

Up 31-7 was the perfect time to work on expanding the play calling, specifically the passing game.... they, specifically Worley, just showed they couldn't execute which led to 3 and outs and lost momentum. Throw in what looked like a Sunseri coached defense and we got that horrible half of football.

Saban doesn't coach here, butch jones has had no where near the success that saban has had. So what in the f&ck makes you think I care what coach saban had to say about his team yesterday

yes, execution is mostly what it's about, put play calling is important. With our QB and inexperienced receivers, you don't try long passes when you really need first downs. Low chance of success = bad play call. It is easier to execute when you've got a squad full of four- and five-start players.

What caused the turnovers yesterday? Interceptions. How many turnovers were interceptions at the Florida game? Four. Not blind but I am smart.
