Not an exact quote just going off what I heard him say on tv. Something like this:

"Some people say it's the plays you call, but it's the execution of the plays."

I'll let Saban speak for himself. :hi:

Well that's just more of the same from him. He- and many other coaches- say that ALL THE TIME. Saban in particular doesn't let the truth get in the way of his execution-this-execution-that coach speak.

The obvious fact of the matter is that play calling is very important.

When the Vol fan was asked what he thought of bama's execution, he said:

I'm all for it!!! :whistling:

It is players, people. Plain and simple.

Anyone think Mark Richt and Les Miles are some super genius coaches doing things other coaches can't comprehend? No, they aren't. They have players.

A perfectly executed play is one where everyone is blocked, routes are successful, and on and on. So, the defense would not also be perfect. Capiche?

In high school, every play, if executed perfectly, would score a touchdown. Not so much in college.

As far as Saban, you may not care what he says, but he's right. Your envy destroys you, and your comments illustrate your pettiness.

Saban, the coach speak master, says something absolving himself and his staff of any responsibility for his team's weak play and we're passing it off as a lesson. Fabulous.

You coach a team that has won three out of the last four national championships, then critique what he says. How about telling us what Butch would say.

I saw that at half-time of the Ole Sis game....but go ask him if he would change the plays Alabubba ran with 1st and goal from the 3 yd line last year against aTm and see what he says...:salute:

Saban doesn't coach here, butch jones has had no where near the success that saban has had. So what in the f&ck makes you think I care what coach saban had to say about his team yesterday

Well dude, neither has anything to do with it. This quote is because so many Vol posters on here are questioning playcalling. They are questioning his decisions. So I was using a successful coach's words coincidently the same day of what the Vol posters were saying. It's party playcalling but it's so much about execution. How many times have we seen plays used several times in any game that have worked to perfection constantly? It's because of EXECUTION. You really need to take a chill pill and get your panties out of a wad.

True lol but this post is for the people tired of "the same 5 plays".

This team can barely execute a kneel.

With all due respect, and I do mean all due respect, the words that come out of Nick Saban's mouth ain't worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on.

No you are wrong if we had His quality of players our execution would be great.

Was this supposed to make sense as a response to my comment?

It makes as much sense as any of your posts. Your refusal to listen to a coach that is by any estimation one of the greatest of all time is indicative of the fan base and obviously the attitude the administration in Knoxville takes, hence, the state of your program.

Enjoy. Keep hating. The Bama ride is far from over.
