As his value is market driven by, among other actions, car dealer spokesman, paid photographs with children, autographs, jersey sales and other public appearances, his value to any sponsor within 200 miles of Knoxville is zip.

No local business will have him on their property; therefore, his value is zero. He is actually a net negative after he sat out of the O/W. Nico peed in the corn flakes, and no one wearing orange likes pee flavored cereal. Even if he "won" his value is still zero.

That's it. This is the automotive equivalent of the Edsel. Too bad.

I'm sure some stories will come out putting UT in a negative light, but it doesn't matter. You don't go against the family.

Zero, in fact he owes us money. The timing of his move hurt our ability to replace him and thus hurt the program and his teammates. He can never come back in my opinion nor would he dare to try. I am tired of hearing his name, can't we just move on.
It’s currently the biggest story in college sports and will be one of the biggest National storylines to open the upcoming season. UCLA and Tennessee will be compared and contrasted all year. If you just can’t take hearing his name, you can always take the year off from college football.

Like it or not, signing Nico gave our program a lot of recruiting momentum and positive media coverage. That alone was worth $4m
And the whole making the playoffs thing....it's a bigger loss than most fans want to admit. I know he didn't set the world on fire and missed some throws but he was also a RS Freshman playing in his first season. I'm fine just saying let's move on but I can't pretend like it isn't going to hurt us. It's just an unfortunate shame. But such is life.

Despite the exit and that he didn’t exactly blow it out of the water on the field, he did put UT back on the map for top notch QBs and the PR hype from the media surrounding him so there is that value for sure.
Tennessee has always got highly ranked quarterback commits even in the down years so I wouldn't attribute that to Nico.

He didn’t play like one of the top QBs in the country because he wasn’t one of them.

He’s a mid tier semi serviceable QB and would fit well at somewhere with lower expectations but still willing to host a diva and his financially focused family.

No hate towards the young dude. Hope he has an enjoyable college career and gets a good degree in a field he enjoys. However in order for him to demand 4 million a year, he has to play like one of the guys making 4 million a year.

You're kidding yourself. Yeah, the day 3 NFL draft pick was way more important than the QB with elite potential. Keep telling yourself that.
You must not have watched the games this year. Anyone who knows anything about football and watched the games would say the same as me, Samson was much more valuable to us than Nico was. I am talking about last years play only.

Can we please stop talking about this family? He’s gone! We have players transfer in all the time from other schools. I wonder if they obsess over them like some in here do?
I can assure you they would, if they transferred under the same circumstances as as how Nico did
