A co worker of mine who is a Bama fan said he heard Saban is going to come hard after Nico to get him to transfer. I don’t believe that Nico would leave but after Bama’s spring game Saban is apparently panicking that he doesn’t have a legit QB on the roster. So he’s going to get one in the transfer portal and Nico is who he is targeting. Should we be concerned? Or is this probaly just BS?

I am pretty sure there are still rules and pretty stiff penalties for recruiting players while they're on scholarship at another school.

And if Saban goes portal... I don't think he is going after and unproven Fr no matter how talented he is. They made their run at Nico and came up short.

Your co-worker is completely BSing for two reasons:

a) Nico would not be eligible to play at Bama this season due to SEC rules.
b) Why would Saban go after an unproven guy to replace two of his unproven guys while he can get more proven QBs from market ?

That that mfer to stop spreading false rumors.

You're one gullible dude aren't you. Not only do you believe this, but you actually posted it----fact check----Nico is not in the portal. That should have been your first clue

Well yea I thought it was some BS but we all know how Saban and them get away with just about anything it wouldn’t surprise me if they tampered with our contract with Nico and stole him from us and Greg Sankey wouldn’t do anything to them. There isn’t a team dirtier than Bama.

That literally IS the stupidest thing I have heard! Nico is cashing checks and knows he will play in 8 games this season and be the starter next season?!?!?
