Nico Iamaleava predicted to play for Bill Belichick at North Carolina

He is a real quarterback whisperer. Arguably the greatest quarterback of all time couldn’t stand playing for him and he hasn’t developed a serviceable qb in NE since Brady left. IF that is where he ends up then that is a major, unnecessary gamble. I would also argue that BB had little to do with the development of Brady. He is an ex defensive coordinator

He'll get great coaching from that staff. Suspect he'll flourish under them. Might be just what he needs to make it in the NFL. Nico might get the last laugh after all.

Will he? One could argue that he failed to develop any draft pick at the qb position post Brady which is precisely what got him fired from New England

I doubt it.
I don’t think talent is his issue.
I heard Tulane mentioned and that would actually be better for him jmo.
I’d bet money he won’t have the last laugh.

Hilarious that the program that is allowing itself to be used by the Belichick family (check out ol' Bill's contract stipulations) is now going to bend over for the Iamaleava family in exactly the same way.

And all of this to peak at 7-5 in the ACC.
In addition to the money angle, I could see Nico's dad's angle being getting out of the SEC and having a better chance of putting up video game numbers in the ACC. It could be a scheme/strength of schedule play too in addition to money.

Got to have surrounding talent to do that, though.

Genuinely wonder why you believe that.

Freddie Kitchens at OC and Matt Lombardi as QB coach are not only nepo hires, they have never done anything of note in their entire careers (or lack thereof).
