Nico likes playing on the road

Well, Nico is far younger isn't he? Wonder how "doggish" the Vandy QB was when he was a freshman. And let's not forget Nico didn't get the luxury of starting at those lower levels. He got tossed into the deep end from the jump...well...he actually chose it, but the point remains valid. There's a learning curve. I'm not ready to pass judgment on him yet. Let's see what he looks like with an OL worth a crap and some playmakers at WR.
Agree. But Juan Jennings was a dog as a freshman, so age doesn't have much to do with it

Vandys' QB Diego Pavia has already graduated and been playing football since 2020. Started every game last year at New Mexico State. It's not a powerhouse but it's experience. Experience is a great teacher
Honest question. We have played 3 super cupcakes and two decent teams. Even in the cupcake wins, how many times have you seen Nico make plays that make you go holy cow now that’s the generational talent we were expecting? And you can’t make me believe Pavia is lord talented than Nico.

Drake Maye had that dog in him. So did Johnny Manziel, Trevor Lawrence, Josh Dobbs. Arch Manning looks like he has it. Baker Mayfield, Caleb Williams, Peyton Manning and even Clausen showed some dog in him.

I don’t understand why we can see other teams put a young QB in and thrive. Yet we make excuses for our young QB.

Fair point. Maybe a handful

Apples to oranges. What has been laid on Nico and the expectations on this kid are off the charts. Not the same situation at all for Jennings. I think Nico's head is spinning right now. He's overthinking and it's affecting his ability to relax and play. Until he's able to just react instead of thinking, it's going to be a shadow of what we'll eventually see with Nico.

This place cracks me up. We lost one game, and many people have gone from thinking Nico could walk on water to being a middle-of-the-pack quarterback. Is there a cure for BVS? The O line let the entire team down. Plain and simple they couldn't have blocked my 86-year-old Mother. Blocking is not Nico's job.

If some of these people get down off their high horse, stop acting like they know everything and realize how stupid they look trying to be an internet tough guy, they'd realize 2 people arguing can both be right. I believe this thread is the perfect example.
