Nico's time to shine

OP I’m with you but just for kicks, what’s your opinion on Nico and Josh going forward if Nico continues to be a “game manager” relying and the defense without putting up big numbers? Is it it indicative of lack of trust in Nico or simply just trying to win games conservatively?

I think CJH has brought his young talented QB along exactly the way he felt like a needed to , for obvious reasons (1) turnovers , inevitable with a young QB. (2) getting injured , behind a porous OL.

If Nico is continued to be used as a game manager , we go 9-3 or 10-2 . We have games left on our schedule that will require Nico to be dynamic playmaker. The training wheels come off tonight .

Arkansas might duplicate the OU defense plan. Over water the field. Just saying.

I think even OU realized that as cute as a tactic as that was, it ultimately backfired big time when one of their best d linemen got hurt, and when we went up by a few scores and were content just mauling their offense in their own muck.

Agreed. Passing game needs to come around.
