I can't help but think dangling the appointment in front of him and his ego serves as a way to flush him out of the Congressional toilet, so to speak. It will be surprising if he's confirmed.

Alleged sexual cotact with young girl of 17, sex trafficking, fake IDs, bribery, DUI, and other issues. Granted, never convicted. There has got to be some one as good to nominate that doesn't have this much baggage.

No one's perfect, I get it. However, he will be a magnet for DNC BS. warranted or not.

So Your saying his issues are all hearsay....and this is the guy that pissed off the uniparty, and deepstate by not confirming their Rino Kevin McCarthy for GOP leadership, that literally broke uniparty hold on the GOP.... Let's see how often does the Deepstate, and CIA make use of hearsay and rumor to destroy their foes??? I'm just saying consider the sources of accusations. We were also told Trump raped. E. Jean Carrol? Maybe we should have found a candidate with less baggage like Jeb Bush?

Let the confirmations work itself out.....but don't have faith in accusations from the same people who gave us the above horse sh**, pee tapes, russian collusion, and that Biden is mentally sharp, anmd Kamala was going to win.

This is what I know, when many so called moderate GOP folded like limp rags before the Kevin McCarthy confirmation, who was absolutely going to be a sell out, he stood tall, and he made enemies of every RINO, and every alphabet agency and they have been going after him ever since then.

If you get nothing else, get that this choice will do an excellent job flushing out whose who.

I don't expect Gaetz to be confirmed. He's made too many enemies on both side of the aisle and he'll eventually have to come to terms with that.

Reminder that, A) McCarthy prioritized Ukraine over everything. He was despised by actual MAGA. He colluded with Pelosi against actual conservatives. Typical warmongering alphabet loyal neocon. B) Somehow some missed the fact that Gaetz was acting on behalf of voters who supported him and this effort enormously. And wanted McCarthy OUT and wanted Jordan! C) The accusations and investigations into Gaetz came from McCarthy and his toadies who were still butt hurt about MAGA GOP refusing to back mcCarthy. Typical slime job by the swamp. Even the Biden lawfare minded DOJ did nothing after investigating Gaetz. If there had even one iota of a sliver of evidence of anything they would have indicted him for something.

Kevin McCarthy hasn’t held any public office or government paycheck since he left Congress back in December 2023. He’s not in the White House, yet he’s out here acting like he’s got a say in Matt Gaetz’s confirmation. Trump won. MAGA won. Not Uniparty GOP republicans.....let them continue to show themselves out. Wether Gaetz is confirmed or not it's a brillient way to ferret out who is loyal and who is uniparty faithful early on. Elections have consequences. The coat tail riders need to be reminded who has the mandate and who does not.

Gaetz is pissing off all the right swamp creatures.
