gm, type msconfig into the start menu and hit enter. Go to the startup tab and take a screen shot of what is loading on startup.

The MSI####.tmp folders are microsoft windows installer folders. It could be you're trying to install a program onto windows and it's failing or it could be a windows update that's trying to install and fails ultimately creating a .tmp folder.

It would seem you've already taken care of that. :)

Type in "update" into the start menu and when the menu populates click on "windows update". Go to "view update history". If you see ANY failed updates look for the next entry where the update was either successful or failed again. On any failed updates tell me if any of those dates correspond to any of the dates to the file folders that were created.

Do you run CCleaner, or Malwarebytes?

Lolz, ok.

Do you ever use the registry cleaner on CCleaner? I've found it somewhat helpful in the past. Most people just use the temporary file cleaner feature.
