We have a makeable path to the championship game. If we can beat Syracuse, we'd face the winner of Stanford/Washington(or is it Washington State?) to get into the CG. Not easy, but doable. I expect UConn vs Baylor on the otherside of the Final Four. Both would be hard for us to beat, imo, so it's good they're on the same side of the bracket as each other.

Does anyone else feel that USCjr's ladies team should be known as the Transvestites? How else do you describe Lady Cocks?

At one point, I was very critical of Holly. I still say she's not blameless, but I think she'd look like a much better coach by replacing some of, if not all, of her assistants. I would love, love, love to bring Nikki McCray home from USCjr. She was known for her tenacious d and I think that's something she could bring to this team. I'm also curious as to where Carla McGee is currently. I think she could be a good addition. Honestly, if they're the right hires, I wouldn't mind seeing all of our assistants being alumni. Pat produced some quality coaches throughout her long career, and bringing them home should be encouraged. And I really, really want Nikki McCray back home.

Better assistants can improve coaching and recruiting. It's less about their current level of play and more about recruiting for the future. And who better to sell the Lady Vols than former Lady Vols? And if Nikki can teach defense like she played it, I'd replace Kyra as Associate HC with Nikki McCray. This team could benefit from that killer instinct.

Fun fact, both Holly and myself are Bearden High School alumni, though she's quite a bit older.
