Sorry not sorry. We need it. We are having a blast! Going to go kayak and fish the sound in the AM, hoping for some whiting or red fish.

Caught a few different fish, catfish , puffer, some sort of rainbow colored perch like fish(12 or so) had a blast until...

Hooked up with a big stingray, about 3 feet in diameter, fought it for a while, had it beside the kayak, then my line breaks! 45 pound braid, then the wind picked up and I got over took by waves, flooded my kayak, and flipped! Luckily it was only about 5 feet deep. Tried and tried to get back in but it wasn't happening, I hooked a line to my life jacket and swam it about a half mile to the shore in the sound to my parents campsite. It was really fun!

My dad caught a few puffer at the pier. It's his 60th birthday today !

Me and my oldest took the paddle board out and had a blast! He's a natural, me not so much , took me a while to get my big tail to stand up!

Represent The Vols everywhere I go! Now my white Vols shirt is stained by the murky water of the Sound. Didn't lose anything when I flipped the kayak, I figured out how to keep everything tied down well, can't wait to get an actual fishing kayak!
