Night Owls/Insomniacs Thread Part IV

I second this. I still struggle off and on,but I would never get any sleep whatsoever if I didn't take Trazadone. I might have to switch soon as my body has built a tolerance for it. If I don't need it,I don't take it. Of course that's up to you.
My Dr. n TN just gave me Trazadone. She said Dr's n TN had been encouraged not to give zanax, to 70's plus because it slowed the heart rate and you could die in your sleep. I told her....what a blessing that would be. I got a blank stare then asked if i was depressed.....the answer is NO!
Strange, Dr's at my other house in FL have no problems handing out zanax. I've called to check with others I know down there also!!
I believe big insurance has totally F'd our health care industry!!

Hopefully,Trazadone works better for you. Yeah, you've got to be careful what you take with the side effects meds have.

A good nap helped me today. I had to get up early today to have a showing to sell the house and didn't sleep good the night before.

Big Pharma and HealthCare are the two largest lobbyist in DC.

#1 & #2
Take the next #3-#10 and they don't even come close to what #1 & #2 spend.

They are in everyone's pockets, Repubs / Dems and have no mercy on what they do.

We need healthcare reform in the worst way in this country.

Wow,I noticed this has almost moved to the second page. I guess this is my way of bumping the thread. Thankfully, ever since moving Wednesday to my little cabin, and this is no hyperbole,I have slept the best I have in years. I don't know if it's the mountain air,but I'm not complaining. 😴💤

I've had a harder time getting my bearings after I wake up than getting to sleep lately 🙃 💤 😴 🤪 😜
I worked over last night, just 9 hours, but could not wake up for church. I woke up with the alarm, but soon as I turned it off I was out again.

Yeah, I got up and went to church late this morning (about 20 minutes). I would have stayed home, but my aunt and uncle invited me and it was a new church where I moved. I know that feeling though... I did not want to get up this morning. Exhausted from the day before.

It is the owl’s fault, this time. Sounds like it’s in the hickory on the north edge of my property, which is to say, it sounds as if it’s perched just outside my bedroom window.

1:34 in SWFL....Listing to rain from band of Hurricane Helena..... 09/29/22 Hurricane Ian hit here and was 8 hours of off/on terror according to neighbors. Fortunately, I wasn't here but soon after to start cleaning up aftermath. Three weeks later was unbelievable to see miles and miles of streets stacked chin high with debris and home furnishings and vegetation ruined by the storm. Many of my neighbors have stayed thru the years thru lesser hurricanes. Everyone says they will not stay thru another CAT5.
At this point, eye is over 90 miles out in Gulf of Mexico but is projected to take a right turn into the "Big Bend" / Panama City area of FL..
That area was hit last year (i think, but not long ago). I would wish this catastrophe on no one!!!
GBO!!!!!

Best wishes and prayers to all in the path of Helene.

The old cat awoke, didn’t know why, and yowled about it enough to wake me. You’re the missus’ cat. Go wake her up, and do so quietly.
