Rick Barry had the worst form possible, UNDERHANDED, yet because of repetition he was a career 90% FT shooter iirc.

Actually people shot them that way for years. Barry still swears it's the best way to shoot them.

Yea but it's not proper "form", which is what the whole convo was. Repetition improves your shot, you may have a ceiling, but it can improve. Maymons ft form is awful, dykes points it out everytime, but he still shoots pretty decently.

Actually Barry has great form. It's just not normal form. Barry would argue that his form is the best.

This argument was not originally about whether shooting more shots can improve your FT%. It was about what causes a guy, that actually can play the game, to shoot 40% FT's. I contend that shooting that low a percentage is a form issue not a practice issue.

Edit: I looked it up. Maymon shot 65% last year. Would you say that is pretty decent?
