Trump is the best option out there for 2024. For better or for worse. Then in 2028, maybe we can see if DeSantis is the real deal.

Trump is just not going to get elected again. Too many R's and Independents will shy away from him again.

For me both are too far out on the Bush/Romney/Graham wing of the political spectrum, too entrenched with the political establishment to effect any real changes. Don't get me wrong, either would be much better than the last 3 we had but I don't think either would be much different than Bush II. I want change, I don't know who that candidate would be but I'm pretty confident Haley or Pence isn't it.

We need political outsiders - real people. Not politicians, not corporate leaders, damn sure not lawyers ... just real people with normal backgrounds and solid thought processes.
