Can't happen! Coaches control your playing time. Can you imagine how many lawsuits that would cause. If PT was in contracts then the best decisions for the team are not being made.

It can't happen. Imagine if your pay was based on you going to work and doing a good job but your boss keeps telling you to stay home or keeps telling you to do other chores so you can't complete your job and get paid.

Because coaches control playing time which controls performance.

It is like your boss giving you so much administrative work that you barely have a chance to earn a commission.
