I've heard the NIT will be broadcast in standard definition. The didn't feel like digital or HD was worth the money.

Bottom line, this was a terrible league. I said months ago UT would pad their record with wins in the conference and was ridiculed. I think Pearl had around 400 wins when he took the job. Cuonzo may grow to be that caliber but the fact is he is learning on the job.
No impressive road wins or neutral court wins is one reason this team was left out.

Not as clever as you think you are being. You see I want TN to win and I think if Pearl comes back, I think they have a better chance. See how that works? BTW I don't even think Martin can screw it up next year, I say they get in next year and this pattern continues for a while. But who knows he may botch it and we might get Pearl back...You see I agree Pearl was an idiot, but I also like to win.

Martin's best road season was his third at MS. (.500)
Maybe he gets it together again next year.

Since his biggest problem is winning away from TBA and since he's still a learning coach , could be a lot gained from playing in a tournament atmosphere even if it means nothing.

I could continue to engage in this pissing match all night, and you would continue to look a fool. However, I won't waste my time trying to reason with someone who actually entertains the notion Pearl will be rehired.

Look, I do not think it will happen, but I welcome it if Martin does not make it to the NCAA tournament. How is 6 straight NCAA longing foolish? Drop the stupid mistake he made, I agree he messed up. I want to be a part of March madness and there is nothing foolish about that.

Lets win the damn nit and get the mojo going for next years team, next years team will be at least sweet 16 bound everybody get there head out of there azz and get fired up and win the NIT, AND WE WILL BE DANCING WITH THE PRETTY GIRL NEXT YEAR.

We need to lose the first game like we did last year. Hopefully play Golden, Mcrae, and Stokes minimal minutes. The NIT serves absolutely zero purpose. It'd be awesome if we could finally have a full and healthy roster to start the season for a change.

We all want to be there. That goes without saying. This post is much more rational and reasonable than you first one I quoted. Your attempt at humor in that post makes it seem like you don't want to give Martin a chance. He has had his team on the bubble in his only two seasons, and I think we can agree, with Maymon, we'd have made it this year.

He has shown improvement from year one to year two, and he's recruited fairly well and seems to have an eye for talent. If Martin wets the bed and we miss next year (barring any unforeseen circumstances), I agree the situation deserves a reevaluation.
