Urban you can take a leave of absence starting effectively right now.

I'm glad that Meyer will be able to take that "leave of absence" with a win. Because, Lord knows, no other coach has the stress of knowing that their family is set for life.

The announcers just hit the nail on the head as to why a lot of people don't like Tebow. The media lovefest for him makes for a headache to a lot of college football fans

Why? Not like he needs to save him for another game. The only thing saving Cincy is Meyer might not want to embarrass his Alma Mater.

this was absolutely to be expected. cincy never plays any defense, and they haven't seen a defense like florida's all year long. that's a horrible combo.

when pike has had time to throw, he actually has made some very accurate throws down the field that are simply perfectly defended by florida. he seems shellshocked.

any attempt at a quick out to get a guy the ball in space has been met with a bone crunching tackle from a guy that seems to come out of nowhere.

I know I am about to say something most will not like on this site......but I am an SEC fan and want Florida to win.....Cinn is being killed by Florida and after the SEC performance so far this bowl season we need the win really bad........GO SEC!

No doubt. I really like the guy and I hope he has a great pro career but... I really need a break from Tebow.

me too.

being the cynic that i am, obviously i don't entirely buy the image that has been created in the media surrounding him.

having said that, i can't be entirely cynical towards him because tebow hasn't done all that much himself (outside of the bible verses on the eye black and thanking God for wins) to create that image...it has largely been created by the media for him.

of course, once he goes pro and is no longer an amateur athlete, that might change.

Brian Billick - "Tebow's long deliberate release will cause him problems in the pros"

Thom Brennaman - "Why?"
