Buck Belue, today on 680 The Fan, threw out the race card and said that every school in the south will negative recruit against UF until they get a black coach back on staff.

Fair or unfair?

Unfair... Charlie Strong just left UF. Strong's marriage is even a sign that UF doesn't care about race problems or image in certain areas.

very fair. Urban Meyer hates black people and that is why it took Charlie Strong so long to get a HC gig.

It's unfair to say that you have to have a person employed based on their skin color...best man gets the job, regardless of skin color...hate the race card.

Not the point.....is it fair for OTHER schools to use this against UF?

Cam Newton was a much better QB than Tim Tebow.

Agreed.

The only reason Emmanuel Moody wasn't starting over Rainey or Demps was that he is a lighter shade of black.

no its not fair. well, i guess all is fair in love and recruiting. but its wrong, IMO.

and i hate the race card. best man gets the job. charlie strong was AA and clearly the best man. now hes gone, and the next best got the job. end of story.

I would think the odds are just as good that it might work against another school that tries to use this against UF. That said... unfortunately it appears that most anything is fair when it comes to recruiting.

If i'm an AD i'm not going out looking for just a black coach because everybody wants me too. If he can coach then great, I don't care if he's green, purple,or yellow, I'm getting the guy who is qualified and if he's black then so be it. I'm tired of this racist crap from both blacks and whites.
