I think they will eventually get female cheerleaders.
The only tradition I can think of that has ended at A&M during my lifetime has been Bonfire. I respect the poster's opinion...but male Yell leaders will always be a part of A&M football. When one personally experiences the control these five young men have over 40,000 students you'll understand how important they are to the crowd noise at Kyle Field.
The one tradition the article did not mention, which should have been right after the Yell Leaders...is the 12th Man....Aggies stand for the entire game...they only sit down at halftime.
Maybe yall can change the swaying that represents the sawing of BEVO's horns to sawing off an elephants trunk. Ya know, to be more SECish putting behind the past
I understand your thought...but I just don't see that happening either. A&M wants to continue the Thanksgiving game with Texas...it's Texas that's balking. If the series continues then the War Hymn will continue. If the series does not continue then I still believe we'll sing it...as a reminder that our passion to 'Saw Varsity's Horns Off' will always be our goal...even though the horns pu $ $ ed out on us.
Time certainly will tell, won't it?
