I love it. The defense of Yankees douche baggery is to bring up the douche baggery of the Red Sox.

Classic. Oh, Yankees fans. You all alone make your team worth hating.

*awaiting some sort of "jealousy" comment.

Both teams have their fair share of douchebag fans and bandwagoners. There seem to be a few on this site as well to prove that point.

I've been a Yankee fan since as long as I can remember hearing my Grandfather talk about Mick, Joe D and Whitey. And I have no problem calling out the bandwagons.

But you do have to admit it's pretty funny hearing a Sox fan get on anyone about class. Their reputation is not very stellar in itself.

good piece of editing here

Witnesses say Norton ran up behind Ritter and "sucker punched" him in the back of the head, causing him to fall forward on the sloping, concrete ramp. Norton struck his head on the pavement and suffered a concussion and serious head injuries. He has since been released from the hospital.

Both the Yankees and Sox will always have bandwagon fans. Its nice to see there are a few who know what they are talking about though.. I am a diehard cardinals fan and have been since I was a young kid and fortunately I have not ran across too many bandwagon cards fans.

Right up there with the losers who like NY cause their favorite rapper dons a Yankee cap.

The Jay-Z fans do suck. They are not as bad as the ones who say "27" for the Hell of it, though.

But the Fallon Fellaters take the cake.

I have seen you mention this many times but have yet to encounter a single one...here is where the difference is.

Every team that is successful will have bandwagon fans, the Red Sox are no exception, it's just that the Yankees have an inordinate amount, by far more than any other franchise in all of American sport.

I remember after the Sox ended the curse, I have never seen so much Sox apparel...it was absurd.
