Honestly, I can't ever remember a game with 0 penalties and I've watched UT football for many years. We usually have about 5 false starts and 3 off sides our first game. Discipline will win you a lot of games.

Discipline finally. Team looked much more focused, granted against Austin Peay, but still focused and energized. Loved the sprint to other end of field at the end of first quarter.

Congrats to our Vols for no penalties. Coach Jones said he doesn't remember coaching a game at Central Michigan or Cincinnati where there were no penalties, certainly not a season opener. Go Vols!

These kinds of things are a direct reflection of coaching. Very glad to see a win, but super impressed to not see any of the above things that we used to see with Doofus as coach.
