No plan on how to pay Dooley

UT doesn't have the cash to pay the 5 million up front---they will need some rich booster to step up with a couple of million to help out

The university gave Hart the go ahead and will fund the money knowing that once UT gets back to winning they will make their money back 10 fold.

The academic side is seeing that schools like Bama, UGA and Florida are rollin in it not because they have a higher academic prestige but more successful Football programs. Fir a bunch of brainiacs they are a little slow.

It makes me sick to think that Hamilton thought it was a good idea to give an unproven coach that long of a contract. Idiot.

I would bet on monthly payments using Bank transfers made up of American currency...much like CPF was paid down his due.

That statement may sound harrowing, but one quick glance at the WSJ indicates that this predicament is no different than what takes place during corporate acquisitions and firings.

In other words, I ain't scurred...

"The University of Tennessee does not yet have a plan for how it will finance a multimillion-dollar buyout of former head football coach Derek Dooley, who was fired Sunday, Chancellor Jimmy Cheek said today."

How do you fire someone but have no plan on how to pay him?!!

hart said in his press conference the University was giving money back to the AD..So I think this is a non issue

First investagate when he figured out his lack of coaching skills and intentionally got fired for his payout then let him the lawyer and the schools lawyers battle it out.

He would do ok for most of the trial, and then the wheels would come off during closing arguments.

At which point, his paralegals abandon him and he hires a guy, who once argued his way out of a speeding ticket, to take the reins.

Or, the judge would order a recess, and Dools would spend it eating a PB and J on the courthouse lawn instead of fine tuning his strategy and making adjustments in his arguments.

I don't believe this for a second. This is not the type of move that gets made without all the ducks being in a row.
