Update: Adam Giacalone was signed by the Brewers on June 15, 2012 and was released by the Helena Brewers March 20, 2014. In 2012, he played 69 games in Rookie League in his first year, then in 2013 was moved to Full Season A where he played 64 games before being moved back to Rookie League where he finished the season. Was released in spring training in 2014.

Batted .298 w/8 HRs over two seasons of Rookie and A ball.

Not sure if those 2 are examples are what Deerpark was posting about or not but it's a massive failure draft wise for an sec school to lose a guy to the draft for 100k or a hs in the 19th round.

Those are 2 losses that would likely have never taken place at any other sec school.

Reggie Pruitt selected in the 24th round by the Blue Jays. You really should try harder.

I guess Tim Corbin is a massive failure too? Happens everywhere. You complain about the system all the time but the kids game it every bit as much as the adults. Some pf these kids have no intention of going to school, obviously Adam Giacalone based on his own words was one of these kids.
