No UF Spring Game discussion...?

I think they will not score much, thus nullifying their kicker. If Florida's kicker is our biggest worry then we're fine. They are not significantly better on offense based on their SG. Cleveland is a talent that will join them this summer but nothing our secondary can't handle. Our defense will be better and I don't see them scoring much on us in Neyland this year.

As for their defense, it appears comparable to last year's. Good in the secondary and athletes everywhere else. So if we run it equally as well as last year or better and hit some throws (that we didn't hit last year) I don't see us losing to them.

Treon Harris is no longer our QB, therefore we will be significantly better on offense.

Everyone should use their brains here and not their emotion.

Tennessee has a lot more talent and depth on both lines of scrimmage than Florida does. Tennessee is also better at QB, RB, and on special teams. Tennessee has more quality depth at LB than Florida does. Barring Tennessee turning the ball over 4 times, Vols win. Vols win based on the big talent gap and quality depth on the Lines of scrimmage alone. Florida has signed only two DT's over the last two years and neither one of them were rated over 3 stars. They have done almost an equally bad job of OL recruiting. Just saying.

VN has had 10 years to build its self deprecation per UF, that's a pile to shovel through, it appears.

PS I agree with you, and your ray of sunshine, though out of place here, is nice to see.

On paper we should have won the last two years too.

Del Rio is very likely their starting QB.
Piniero has a strong foot and showed off a bit but he wasn't flawless. At first glance he appears to be solid at 50 yards and under.
Tabor will be one of their main go to guys.
Thompson also looks promising.

It was just a spring game though.

No. Florida's 2011, 2012, and 2013 recruiting classes blow ours outta the water. They had way more guys crafted in 2015 than we did. And they'll have more crafted this year.

On paper we only started recruiting players like Florida in 2014 and 2015.

Kinda hard to expect freshmen and sophomores to be better on paper than equally talented juniors and seniors.

That's what we faced in 2014 and 2015.

Exactly. The same could be said for Oklahoma too. The tables are turning though.

more like Vandy and UT.

you could tell me we went 11-1 in the regular season after playing the future Super Bowl champs, and I would have to ask "In what messed up way did we lose to Florida this year?"

That's sad, funny, and true.

All you need to know is that treon is not the qb. We are therefore better than last year no matter what.

Treon wasn't your qb last year against us roid master greir was and you still needed a miracle 4th down play to pull it out on your home field.

WTF? Are you a Vol fan? I just can't comprehend the defeatist mindset of some of our fans...

I will be cheering at the game until my throat bleeds and if we lose my friends and I will wallow in Neyland Stadium until they kick us out, just like two years ago. Don't question my fanhood based on an opinion I give. I became a Vol fan in 2007 and I don't have the glory days to fall back on. I cheer through the good and the bad, unlike most. How the Vols do on the field does absolutely nothing to my fanhood, I will always cheer for them.

I question the fanhood of those who have to win to be fans, conditional ones.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me eleven times shame on...?

Let's be honest, Tom Brady should not have have been able to comeback against us last year. They did, they talk ****, we have to win 9/24/16.

My daughter put it best, "Why watch the spring game to see them blocking each other when you can see the same thing during the season?".
