No Weekly Recruiting Update

Let's start a petition to get POA to keep doing them, because you know how well those work.

It will probably cause us to lose POA permanently and the FF will be merged into the Recruiting Forum, considering the complete wrong thing happens whenever a petition is made, but it's worth a shot.

Dang POA...My job has kept me off here as much as I was last year, but your weekly updates kept me up to date. I always appreciate the work you put in...

Now I'm really lost, I don't even know the inside joke about "big uglies" that is in every thread...

POA, I am a new lurker mostly, and I'll mostly stay that way, I don't have the knowledge or the vigor to post much or certainly to argue with all the veterans on this forum.

But just so you know, your weekly updates probably helped people like me the most, I enjoy them and I learn a lot from them; so thanks for what you have done and if you want to continue then thanks again

It's hard for me (and a lot of us) to search through threads and see what is going on with each player. I viewed your thread every week and I noticed you hadn't made one the past couple weeks but I figured you were taking a break because recruiting was slow. Hate to hear you are stopping and for all the threads I read that you made and I never thanked you, thanks POA, and Go Vols.

If i start doing out again, there won't be one this week. But if i start again, people should post some kind of reply so i know people are still reading. Even if it's just a thumbs up emoticon

Don't think you will have any problem with that. The old adage "You don't miss the water until the well runs dry" is applicable here!

I work around 55 hours a week so your round up always kept me in the loop POA. Thank you sir for all your hard work!

I read them every week as well. Was wondering where they had been.

If you keep them going I solemnly swear to try my best and my whole best to post something to keep the thread at the top of the list throughout the week.

You do great work man.

I appreciate the work you put in on those threads POA. They were an integral part of my Monday morning, and sometimes even late Sunday nights. I'd been looking for them the last two weeks, but figured I missed something in a random conversation buried in a thread on here or you saying you'd post pone them for a bit seeing as recruiting is dying down a bit. I work too much to spend hours catching up on pages and pages of recruit threads, though I certainly try to. I hope to see them again.

Besides, after some of the stuff ive read over the past few days, im not sure if im sticking around for much longer. Might come back after things settle down and people stop bashing players and recruits

I have been looking for it for a couple of weeks now and have missed it very much. I don't post much, but I follow recruiting very closely, and although I read the recruiting tweets thread multiple times a day, your weekly update is a much better condensed version of what is going on. I think a lot more people read it than you think. It's my favorite thread on here.

As for people bashing recruits. I completely agree. These are kids that are excited to come play for TN and we have people on here questioning why we would recruit a 2* or low 3*. That's ridiculous to me. Don't think for a second that every one of these recruits isn't looking at this site to see what ppl have to say. If I just committed and I saw fans questioning on why CBJ would recruit me I would find somewhere to play where the fans appreciated me. I'm proud of every recruit we get because if CBJ thought they weren't worthy of playing at TN he wouldn't have offered them in the first place. I trust our coach 100%.

That being said, I would love to see the Weekly Recruiting Update again.

I don't post as often as others do but I will say I read the weekly recruiting thread every week. Even posted on several of them thanking POA for his hard work. Hope to see them return soon. Off to work. Have a great day guys!

Give it one more change POA. Appreciate all the time spent in creating the weekly summary. There is so much off topic thread conversation that even if you go through page by page you still miss some info. Your weekly reports were spot on and very useful!!

As most people know, I don't say allot of positive things on this board, but I really did enjoy your weekly summary. It was better than all the other recruiting post put together.
