Please note I said NEXT CLASS, as in up and coming. I was not forgetting the “goddess” Dawn. I consider her already established as a top coach. Jeez, don’t you SC fans have somewhere to be. Although who is Scott? Kim and Vic are not on their way out but not too far removed. As we saw with Pat “the best laid plans of men and mice.”Did something happen to Dawn, Kim, Kelly, Vic, Scott and Wes?...

I know you like pulling people's chains, but are you really going to try to suggest that Niele Ivey is essentially starting from scratch as a recruiter at Notre Dame? And don't bother telling me that Kellie has been recruiting players for years, because you would be the first with the biggest yowl if Kellie were to focus on the players that she had been recruiting at MO ST for her Lady Vols team, proclaiming them unworthy of playing in the SEC!
That's a convenient narrative that helps fans sleep at night, but grows weaker by the day. Kellie has been coach over a year... an eternity in high school kid time. Plenty of time to form impressions and flip prospects. What fans don't want to admit is recruiting is a talent, a skill, that some coaches either have it or they don't. Ivey clearly has it. Staley has it. I see little evidence at this point that Kellie (or her staff) has it. It's ultimately why she was fired at her last power 5 job...
