I thought Cooper entered a little too late last year and had to sit a year, did it change? (Sounds like it did)

edit: I get it now, as long as they get in on time..thx man. Hope you got to see some of the eclipse, I know it didn’t pass directly over the coast but you likely got some of it.

I went to south west Kentucky right on Missouri border (Kentucky bend) and saw 1:45 of totality from a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. Beautiful clear skies and it was amazing, well worth the trip.

Don't know if this has been reported yet, but Oregon State...who made the Elite Eight and returned almost everyone...now has EIGHT players in the portal, including four starters.

Former star Sidney Wiese wrote a solid piece describing Scott Rueck as the best coach she's ever had to this date and giving him and his staff tremendous credit for developing her as a player. Rueck was one of the favorites mentioned around here to replace Kellie.

This is just nuts.

Garbo league? Wow, running out on people or organizations to insult? We don't care about the league, 15 out of the last 16 final fours, and one play away from the NC game this year with only 8 players is all we care about. BTW, if you don't know we have to play people out of the Big East to get to the Final 4. Such is life at the Basketball Capital of the World. LOL

Hey hey don’t come for me 😭 but u were in the American… the WCC is a good or better than that. The Big East isn’t what it was. They could’ve been the “Uconn of the West” with that group. Rueck is a good coach feel bad for him.

I’m one of your only sympathizers here so don’t shoot 😂

I was thinking earlier today as I read some posts saying they hope Joy stays -- we all love her! -- that I would not be surprised if we heard in the next few days that she has become a head coach somewhere. I remember Kellie talking her up as being someone who will be an amazing head coach in the future, and so I'm thrilled for her it has happened.

I'll be following her career at Stony Brook. They got 'em a good one. ☺️

Congrats Coach Joy. She was consistent with the players and in representing the team. Always positive and encouraging to the players. The fanatics are right this time! She is indeed an attractive woman from someone who knows a thing or two about good looking women! I’m glad she gets an opportunity to be a head coach, as the UT WBB program hires a new elite coaching staff! Good luck Coach Joy🍊!

I think SC will stay Pat and not use the portal this year (my hope) as I think the players on the team now need their time to play and shine. Hope CDS forgoes the portal this season, I am not a fan of over crowded benches. SC played ten this year with a true 5 backup just in case. That seemed like plenty, I get injuries, but if you are ten deep you can absorb those things if you built it correctly.

Cardoso is gone, SC is bringing in 3 freshman, so already it is getting tight for PT. again, my hope is no new players added. Personally would love for Feagin to get a bigger role this year in the post.

Yeah, does SC even have a real need for more players? They have plenty, even if they get bit by the injury bug (but hopefully they do not). I think Dawn has done a good job of rotating players so far. Will be interesting to see next season.

They don't have any needs. Anything they would pick up would be an unneeded luxury.
