As they should. When expectations are high and performance lower than expected, they look foolish as with Juju so far this season. When players exceed expectations that coverage also comes. Juju to this point in the season has shown no sophomore jump in performance rather quite the opposite. Then for her to come out and play 32 minutes against a 0-9 team that has below a 300 net and rpi ranking to score 40 points is petty, probably more so on the coaching staff rather than her because they had all kinds of bench players only get 6-8 minutes against a team that probably won't win many games this year. Espn wants so badly for JUju to be the face of women's basketball and so far this season her performances are far from that.

ESPN doesn’t want anything for Juju and that’s fine, let her play and focus on winning a Championship at some point in her career, that’s all she cares about. It’s not about stats for her like it is for others players that never win anything and get praised.

idk, shooting nearly a third of your teams shots against an 0-9 team when you should be getting bench players involved does seem like a stat padder to me. don’t get me wrong, juju is special, but she’s a volume shooter who gets her points off a TON of shots.

Good comeback by OK. They are a weird team, maybe closer to the 2A tier in the SEC than the top tier. They look like we could run them ragged, but when they get in the half court they got some players. Huge game for Verhulst against her old team.
