Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2024-25

Most of the talking heads are now saying that Chavez number one recruit is favoring Texas and Oklahoma. One of them is getting a good one.

That will put Texas in the Top 1-3 recruiting classes with just 2 commits on ESPN. Honestly those rankings are too inaccurate. Mya Pauldo isn’t the 56th best player in HS. That’s a sign of incompetent recruiting evaluation standards.
Good look for the SEC though to have 4 of the Top 5 recruiting classes.

Agree if it is not Tennessee I don't care.

Right. Fans also have to look at where these players team rank in their State and Nationally. That’s bigger than scoring 50 points and all that stuff. Also study the type of system they are coming from in High School. No doubt Chavez will be successful but there’s no such thing as a major college needing any HS player which is thrown around too often by some fans. It’s too many talented HS players to recruit. That’s why I waited to see who committed to Tennessee before I start watching these players to get an idea of how they may translate at Tennessee.

Looks like Missouri is looking to hire Kelly Harper or Charmin Smith. Says Missouri will make a stronger investment in women's basketball.
Watching Lady Vols beating down Missouri wouldn't be very entertaining for some if Harper got the Missouri job...
