I didn't see either semi completely, but I saw enough and some replays to ask (1) why have three officials if none saw the ball kicked by Stanford late in that game and no call on a late game rebound mugging by UConn? (2) why have replay if refs couldn't see that 5th phantom foul call on the wrong player?
Don't yell, I enjoyed both winners winning, and esp both losers losing

if she wants to be a guaranteed first rounder she better go this year next year looks to be a deeper draft. Geno may also suggest she go declare for the draft too.

ESPN hasn't had much of anything to say about UConn from the time Morgan William hit the buzzer beater until Paige started showing up. They've spent the last three years talking about Arike and Sabrina.

@Lucy I'm disappointed. They're taking the loss awfully well. Giving credit to Arizona, lamenting ONO's ineffectiveness. I was expecting some scorched earth comments about Christyn's bogus 5th foul, but not many brought it up, and just in passing.

Needless to say, I'm kind of disappointed ☹️

Me too! On the bright side perhaps they are just getting used to losing! Maybe some talk of Geno losing a step.
There might be more whining at the chicken coop!

Best of all LV fans have at least 365 days ahead of us with neither the connies or the clucks being reigning national champions!!

Wow! So glad we made the trip to San Antonio!

Too busy celebrating to read all the posts, and don’t know if anyone addressed this point, but here goes...

Adia Barnes coaches a team led by a 51st ranked player in her class while Geno has #1, #1, #2, #4 and a bunch of other highly ranked recruits playing for him. Adia, who does not publicly disparage her team, has her team prepared to completely outplay the Huskies. Geno meanwhile spends a season giving interviews of insulting tirades that sound eerily close to a rant of a misogynist. One assumes his practices are the same. I hope that recruits notice what happened and realize that his time of riding the wave of interest Pat Summit created in women’s basketball and creating this sick role of some bad, denigrating Dad is no longer okay. Today’s recruits are self motivated and aware. The ones that are actually coached and not berated will reap better rewards from their coaches.

Hopefully, the upcoming recruits will recognize Genoa’s efforts as an offensive attempt by a make pig who slid in to a place created by a woman that he felt entitled to take while exploiting his misogynistic ways to gaslight impressionable young women to create his success.

Here’s hoping these young women realize they can better succeed with women coaches who know what it is to play at the highest level, while supporting and lifting women along the way.
