The Notre Dame point guard play has been ugly. Some of those passes just bad decisions.

Matchup zone worked for ND in the first quarter but UCONN adjusted. Doing a nice job getting inside the zone and kicking back out. Either with post touches or penetration.

Also getting a lot of offensive rebounds against the zone. With both Juhaz and ONO in ND can’t keep them off the boards. Going to need to try something different I think. Not sure they can guard them man to man but they may have to try.

Nerves, she’s usually much more poised. Lots of zigging when they think the other is zagging. ND has thrown it out of bounds several times. Reminds me of us a few seasons ago. We were pretty apt at the second row pass.

UConn has 12 turnovers but has a plus 10 in rebounds so you can't win if they outrebound you like that.

Listening to this interview and Bueckers isn’t very well spoken. She speaks with vocal fry, mumbles and over uses words “like” and “kinda.” Could use some coaching in professionalism and projecting her voice.

Georgia 25 Georgia Tech 23 watched about three minutes some really ugly basketball. I find that the passing game in women's basketball is really bad for almost every team.

Notre Dame is using Citron the same way we use Puckett. She does not start, but then plays the minutes of a starter while the person that started sits and watches.

UConn is at 19 turnovers but still winning the boards by 10 and a seven point lead.

Not “wrong” but they just don’t look as organized or as intense as usual. Also not seeing the same kind of team play we are used to. Would say it’s uncommon to see a Geno team with a negative A/TO like today.

That one is all over. Switched to last bit of UGA and GA Tech. GA Tech by 2 with 23 seconds remaining!

Were not the only team that can't make foul shots Ga Tech just missed two that would've sealed the game. Still lead 53 to 51 23 seconds.

GA and GA Tech in a close one 53-51 GT. They had 2 free throws to go up by 4 and missed BOTH!

If they lose this game it will be because of FT shooting for Tech

Gosh of all the looks at all the times UGA could have gotten a much better look. Poor decision by a veteran player. Pull that back out then attack the basket. At least create the opportunity for a foul or an offensive rebound. But no way GA Tech should score again in that situation. That’s a last shot no matter what moment.

Not that we have any room to talk so to speak, but Georgia’s offense is still so stagnant . Joni seems to recruit elite defenders , but offensively they don’t bring much. Curious to see how she does with the recruiting class she’s brought in for ‘22 with elite offensive players.
