She is having to do the majority of the ball handling and basically coach on the floor. PG is most important position UCONN don’t have one right now and neither do we. There is no elite team in WCBB this year due to injuries.

Not even a fan but SC says 👋🏽 👋🏽👋🏽 they survived their injuries so far and are getting their point guard back soon. They beat uconn with paige i think that elite team is gonna take it to them again🥴

PS not someone trying to take up for Evina by throwing shade at TN ... lol. The reality is Evina left for greener pastures good for her but she has had the chance to step up and hasn't. People can talk all the sh!t they want about Horston but she finds a way to contribute positively even when she isn't playing well...

Geno Auriemma’s press conferences after these losses are so dry and he is hateful towards the press answering questions with his smart aleck tone and poor choice of words. He seems to want to make excuses for his actions and his players poor play, instead of owning up to it. I think UCONN has officially lost its stock with all these top players. They may get some here and there, but nothing like before. He has been exposed. All these players transferring too makes you wonder what is going on there.

Tennessee has been inconsistent all season, especially to start games. This time it caught up to them big time. Same thing happened during the latter part of last season and we saw how that turned out, even with a healthy Burrell and a wnba player in Rennia. It equaled an embarrassing loss to Kentucky and to Carolina in the sec tourney and equally embarrassing loss to Michigan in only the second round of the ncaa tournament. What’s alarming to me is how bad they look when key has to sit out. Why didn’t Harper go ahead and play key with two fouls in that second quarter b4 things got out of hand. You saw hall of fame coach dawn Stacey put Boston back in with two fouls when they got down big to UConn early and that was the key in South Carolina being able to get back in the game. Sometimes I question what in the hell harper is doing with her looses substitutions and bone headed subs, like putting rennie in the 2nd quarter when they were already down big. Made no sense. Literally the girl hasn’t made a basket in 2 years LOL.

lol yea that was a big head scratcher Wynn should be getting more minutes unless she is just lost somehow and we all just don’t know it,.

If we had beaten Stanford would u had given ur inconsistent play lectures and compared it to last year game? It's just a game, move on and keep supporting them. Who in the world enjoys failure, rather we learn from it and move on.

Rick, UCONN won’t have PB when they play UT. They may have Fuzzi for that game. With or without Fuzzi, they are hardly a pushover. The starting 5 for Uconn vs Louisville was hardly a bunch of invalids.

I gotta agree with Rooster. We can't say Uconn shouldn't be this bad with those highly rated players when they loose but when UL beats them we call them invalids. The reality is Uconn probably should of still won that game based on "talent" level but the better team won. shows hs rankings aren't all they are cracked up to be.

Also, i am glad rankings aren't always correct because look at the impact Sara and Brooklynn have made so far. I said it with Justine she is a player who didn't feed into the BS of going places for a higher ranking she stayed in the gym and get better.

All in all Uconn will probably have a couple more losses and i fully expect one to be to us! I say this because we out chemistry seems to be good. If we clean up a few things we will be a very good team. I don't think this team changes the way they go about things when Rae gets back but the same can't be said about Uconn and paige.

They will probably get Muhl and Fudd back before they play us so it will be a very tough game to win. Hopefully we have Rae back I think we have to have her to have any chance to win that game.

They might have them back and that game was gonna be tough regardless. Being back and being able to contribute or get in game flow is two different things. Also how will them being back effect that freshman who is starting to come into her own? Thing will be different so the chemistry might be even more strained.

And side note: Fudd is going to be VERY careful coming back. Some around the DMV believe it was careless for the injury to have gotten this far and you have to be a coach and not cave to decisions of players (look at Paige wanting to play all the time). Not saying this was anyone's fault but some are not happy with certain coaches and it's being talked about.

I'd love to play the team they have now playing at UConn. Stop the freshman and the transfer from Ohio State and they don't score many points. Louisville for some reason could not rebound had to defend three and four possessions way to many times. They won the game because their three point shooting was on for this day if not they lose. Ododa, Westbrooks, and for the most part Williams have become the role players for the team. The new go to players seem to be Ducharme and the big Russian inside.
