I saw NC State in person when they played Syracuse last week. I was unimpressed. Syracuse could have beaten them by 10 if they could actually hit the ocean from the shore in the last quarter. State looked sloppy and unfocused. It’s hard to imagine they will go that far in the postseason.

Good. Don't think Miss St is much of a threat but every loss these middle tier teams lose is good for us.

I wonder if another team has defeated 5 ranked conference teams in a row? It seems improbable that a schedule would allow for that possibility or that a conference would have that many ranked teams this late in the season? As predicted the 5th win was the most difficult.

Agree. Said so in another thread. Hope Mizzu enjoyed last night bc they're about to feel the frustrations of the LVs coming down full force. I think we win comfortably and feel good ourselves for a moment before getting ready for UConn.

Freshman of the Year is going to be interesting both nationally and in the SEC.

Blakes is probably going to have the best stats bc of how Vandy uses her. But Sara Strong and Joyce Edwards are more likely to win bc of higher profile programs. Possibly Blakes wins the SEC, Strong wins the national award but Edwards is actually the best player of the three.

I did enjoy the play of #0 Grace Slaughter 6’2” guard of Missouri. She had 31 last night. Smooth to the basket. Someone to be watched. A career night for her. Let’s put an end to that.

Joyce Edwards should not be contrasted with Cardosa. Joyce is a fwd and Kamilla was a center. Also, Cardosa was ACC FOY her first season, so she wasn’t chopped liver.
