Oh no! He was great. He was on the Carolla podcast I listened to and he and Carolla broke down the song "Ruby" by Kenny Rogers and it was hilarious. He also told the story of nailing his friend's wife in the kitchen while he mowed the yard.

I loved his SNL weekend reports

I don't think he was really telling many people. This has been going on for several years and he was still doing standup and podcast work.

I hope OJ is invited to the funeral.

“Charles Woodson became the first ever defensive player to win the Heisman trophy. Congratulations Charles that is something no one can take away from you…unless you kill your wife and a waiter.”

Norm trashing OJ at every chance he could during Weekend Update after the verdict was priceless.

This to me might be the greatest moment in roast history. It's a microcosm of Norm's place in showbiz. Nobody but a few of the comics got the bit right away. Then some of the audience starts to get it. Then nearly everybody was dying (surely with some people still thinking "wtf is this?"). The clip only shows near the beginning of his set, but OMG, you have to find the whole thing and watch it.

His Bob Dole impression during the 96 election was really good. Never did it come across as mean spirited. Just funny. Who would have ever thought bob dole would have outlived him.
Norm talked about comedians doing impressions. He said if it was mean spirited, then it just couldn’t be funny. I think Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of Trump is a perfect example of that. Whereas if it was done in jest, it came across much differently like Danny Carrey’s Bush/Perot or Hartman’s Clinton.
