For some reason this set is exactly what I thought of first when I heard he’d died. I agree, it’s probably my favorite non-Giraldo moment from any of the Roasts.

I tried to find his SNL prison life clip but couldn’t. He does a lot on prisoners to the tune of: the worst thing about prison isn’t the loss of freedom or the surroundings……..it’s the anal rape.

Or something near to that. Great bit he did routinely.

My favorite comedian. Period. He was so intelligent and well versed. Listen to his interviews with Dennis Miller. Just hilarious.

The moth joke is an all timer.

This one stings.

Love to listen to Conan's Pod, esp with older members of SNL, Carvey & Nealon. Never appreciated it, till now. So much rehearsing, adlibbing, to find that schtick. Not only do those guys have to practice and memorize routines, that cadence. Man, Norm's was great.

Conan's 6 part podcast with Dana Carvey has me crying. The Hitler, Kennedy, Elvis in a bunker kills me

so ignore the commercial in the middle - Bob Einstein is hilarious and then they show a clip from the show he's referencing. It's not exactly the same joke but damn.

The roast was genius. His response the that guy who tried to bash his roast was even better. Ive list to that roast a million times. I think he was a pretty lonely guy though.

My favorite Giraldo roast joke was the time he looked Pamela Anderson right in the eye and said "You've caused me to spill more seed that Muhammad Ali at a birdfeeder." Or a very similar thing he said to Brigitte Nielsen at the Flavor Flav roast that I'm not really sure I should post.

Was the Saget roast the only one Norm was ever on?
