They really are playing the North Carolina fight song alot, aren't they?

Probably more than they've been playing it at any non-basketball game in a long time.

Has Schiano (sp) screwed up by not taking offers of better jobs offered to him the last couple of years? Getting humiliated on national television twice already this year can't do much for his resume...

I've got a theory that he passed up those offers because he expects to be the top candidate to replace Paterno at Penn St.

We'll see though.

As much as I love to see UNC's program on the rise.....this is very bad for UT's recruiting. The competition for recruits in the Carolina's and GA just keeps getting more difficult. The rise of programs like Clemson, UNC and Wake Forest will hurt us and Spurrier being at USCe hurts as well. Good thing that Oklahoma pipeline seems to be opening up and that we now have a pipeline in VA and PA due to our new coaching staff. I think you're going to see our traditional recruiting areas change some.

Let's not get too worked up guys. Rutgers was dominated last week by Fresno St. The Bulldogs held them to 7 pts. At the same time, UNC only beat McNeese St 35-27.

The Rutgers flash in the pan appears to have been just that. Schianno better get out of town quick.
