Not after the Miami fiasco. Wonder what their ruling will be against Syracuse
The NCAA is not going to come down hard on UNC. Purely financial. The lion share of their income comes from the rights to the men's NCAA basketball tournament. UNC and Duke are huge revenue generators in that aspect. There's a reason why there are always tourney sites in NC and those 2 teams get the slots for them.
If they don't come down on UNC in this instance then the NCAA ought to leave these players alone with regards to taking money for autographs. They ought to let them trade jerseys for Tats. They ought to apologize to every coach they've given show causes to and give Bush back his Heisman because this...This is worse than any of that. This is certainly on the scale of SMU the first time they got caught, in terms of how long it's gone on, it's like Penn State. Yep, if this isn't text book lack of institutional control what is?
Oh, I agree but logic/consistency isn't in the NCAA vocabulary. I am just saying I don't think they will get hit hard. It's not right but I abandoned any hope that the NCAA will do the right thing long ago.
