With the other elite speed recievers coming in next year I bet Croom gets used like a hybrid tight end. Like Hernandez was used for patriots . Doesn't really line up to block but gets match ups with linebackers and safeties where he's a mismatch with speed . Not sure he's fast enough for deep threat wide reciever but can outrun most linebackers.

i don't know,to me it has seemed that ,Croom has been under used and others,it may be the QBs,they are freshmen or might as well be and are not doing any check downs, there has been opportunities for both, but it seems nobody is looking

Part of the problem with the Pig Jet Sweep the last few games is that Dobbs seems to give him the ball higher where Pig has to hesitate to make sure he gets it cleanly and that seems to kill his momentum.

What's your idea of explosiveness? Are you trying to compare him to CP? Because that would be extremely unfair. I have seen him do some good runs with good speed this year. If your expectations are sky high then yeah he is not going to be explosive. If however you have realistic expectations then you should no problem realizing that when Pig gets his hands on the ball in the open field, he is explosive.

Pig has shown promise and I agree that it is not fair to compare him to CP. But the way volnation talks about him, you would think he is one year away from being in the heisman discussion. Any of these players should be able to gain yardage in the "open" field. What makes a player "explosive" is the threat to take one to the house from anywhere. I think he is fun to watch and one of our better players but he is no CP. I also think North will be the better of the two.
