North Texas vs. #23 Florida (ESPNU, 7pm)

I can never win these. I've picked Tennessee the last 2 seasons. If i do that, I'm poormouthing. If I pick Florida, I've gone homer.

It is what it is.

But, Tennessee has shown no ability to put a drive together. Most of their scores have come from someone doing something Playstationesque to either score or set up the score.

Hardly anything is run the way it is drawn up on a chalkboard.

I really think they are playing backyard ball at times and the ball just happens to roll our way.

I think it all starts and ends with line play. Can we consistently block your pass rush and can we do enough in the pass game to keep you honest.

Its doubtful but I didn't think we would win against App so anything could happen I guess.

Especially their Dline. Our Dline is a strength too though. Both olines are weaknesses imo. Although UFs hasn't looked as terrible since the first game
But North Texas and Kentucky are probably as bad as they come defense wise.

Id argue Ohio if Tennessee could block.

The big thing that almost now gets lost in conversation is.....

Tennessee was "supposed" to be different than the rest of the division. They were a cut above. Some people picked them as playoff contenders, etc, etc, etc. Everyone else is doing exactly what people thought.

But, Tennessee wasn't supposed to be the tallest midget. They were supposed to be a big boy.

I agree with you completely. We are a complete wild card team. Our scheme looks more like a teenager randomly hitting buttons on a new game.

Bull effing **** that it's lost in conversation.
5000 threads about who to bash or fire at 3-0 says it's our only conversation.

Sorry, I meant from the pundit class.

No, I've been reading the football forum and I think most negavols have it correct.

The whole vanilla argument is garbage as well.

Yea Ohio d is bad and we could not take advantage. Sad.

Malone should have put Meachem type numbers today and didn't I really hate it for him because I think hes truly turned the corner and wants to get better and help the team.

Based on the brief but beautiful football I have seen this team capable of we are in some weird downward spiral of trust issues with Dobbs/scheme/line. Nobody swings guardrail to guardrail harder than 120.

We're sending Anzalone and Davis on every pass play.

Pretty sure our game plan will be the exact opposite next week.

Our offense looks like garbage.
