It want matter in less than 4 years.

The Mayan,Aztec, and most eastern cultural calendars end. in 2012.Which fall right in line with Nostradamus.

The eight point wheel!

The planets align with the center of the universe.

History ends........:)

That is the theory.

Plants will not be alligned, I think its just the ones inside the asteroid belt. Or it should be close. But the theory about how it is going to end will be with the Large Meteor that is going to pass us in 2011 swing around the sun, and it is unknown where the suns gravitational force will swing it. Could be thousands of miles away, could be a dead on hit. But this is supposed to happen in early 2012, not in December. So this might disprove the predictions.

The Mayan calendar was taken back to Europe and Nostradamus did study it. Everything else is speculation on both of our parts.

Planets will not align, our solar system will align with our black hole. And according to the calendar it will end in deluge which would be a flood not a meteor

I believe the models (most say they all align, even the planetoids Pluto).

Depending on the size and atomic mass of the meteor, gravitational pull,The effects of time space attested too in Einstein's theories.
It truly is unknown.

Depending on how close to the sun, how mush mass is evacuated.
Then one has to tie it to biblical predictions.Plus lets don,t forget the Bible Code books.

Dont forget the Earth is going to tilt on its axis at that time too.

I went to a greenhouse once, their plants were aligned in these nice orderly rows.

world didn't end then and this Mayan calendar business is utter rubbish.

To give you the background on this, On Vonation Live someone was talking about Nostrodamus(sp?) predicting something and I stated he got his predictions from interpreting the Mayan Calander, which sent Big Train into a fit, so I told him to come in here to argue about it.

He used many sources, the Mayan Calendar being one. He burned all the resource material he used in order to keep his method secret.

And it's amazing how much his predictions line up with the Mayan Calendar and prophecies. And burning of the secret "method" suggest he was not clairvoyant and got his predictions from something else.

C'mon folks give people with normal human intelligence a break and spare us the Nostradamus BS.. That sociopathic, reclusive, wierdo has been credited with predicting every significant event in history (good or bad) except Mickey and Mininie Mouse's life long affair out of wedlock and Phillip Fulmer's firing. His writings are pure fiction and nothing more than the rantings of a lunatic. Leave the poor bast*&d moulding in his grave.:crazy:

I'm not sure what his methods were. He made so many predictions that seem to be true (vague as they are) that i don't really think it can be sourced from only the Mayan Calendar.

I watched a show last night. It was about a mathematician who has done work with the CIA, he claims to have found an algorythm (?spelling) that he uses to make predictions, very successfully, or so many say. He seems to believe that Nastrodamus also used this formula.

Bottom line is that the Maya were very advanced astronomers and mathematicians, there best would have given our best a run for their money I'm sure. No doubt Nastrodamus learned much from studying the Maya Calendar and perhaps even their techniques.

I was going to post my thoughts, but my Ouji Board and Magic 8 Ball suggested I keep mum. Maybe I can post later after my spiritual healing seminar out at the strip mall behind the Red Lobster that some swear is haunted by the ghost of Elvis Presley.

Monterery, Nostradamus DID NOT EVER HAVE CONTACT WITH THE MAYAN CALENDER. I am sure you heard the story of how he was "a student of a Mayan Village" Which is a lie, and says he traveled to Guatemala which I completely false as he would have no passage to do so. The CALENDER that was brought back to Europe from Cortes was Aztec, which holds no Porphecies, and Nostradamus was Dead in the 1660's which was before the Mayan Calender was taken back to Europe. Whoever is telling you that he "got his prohpecies from Mayans" is reading radical blogs, and biased books of some sorts, because it never happened. Whether his predictions are true or not can be debated, but he did not have contact with the Mayan culture.
