Monterery, Nostradamus DID NOT EVER HAVE CONTACT WITH THE MAYAN CALENDER. I am sure you heard the story of how he was "a student of a Mayan Village" Which is a lie, and says he traveled to Guatemala which I completely false as he would have no passage to do so. The CALENDER that was brought back to Europe from Cortes was Aztec, which holds no Porphecies, and Nostradamus was Dead in the 1660's which was before the Mayan Calender was taken back to Europe. Whoever is telling you that he "got his prohpecies from Mayans" is reading radical blogs, and biased books of some sorts, because it never happened. Whether his predictions are true or not can be debated, but he did not have contact with the Mayan culture.

How can you state, as non-debatable fact, that Nostradamus did not have contact with the Mayan Calendar? The Spanish conquistadors arrived in the Yucatan Peninsula in the early 1500s. Nostradamus lived through 1566.

There may be scant evidence to prove or disprove any contact that Nostradamus had with the Mayan Calendar, however, to dismiss this as beyond debate is flat out wrong.
