not a word about the 50 point blowout?

I know this is the Lady Vols board but geesh it is "March Madness and all game (you would think) should be up for discussion. (unless I missed it, and I apologize) I understand the "hate" "rivalry" "the violations" "the accusations) etc but Women's Basketball need as much exposure as it can possibly get.

Thanks for your time, enjoy your day!
PS - I didnt see the "comeback" but read about it and it sure sounded spectacular, congrats!

Enjoy the rest of the ride

You must be feeling small today, for you are seeking Validation of Ucon, from the only school that can give it to you.

I bet there are a few people over at the Graveyard that are feeling a little embarrassed for you.

A 50 point blow out is indicative of aurienema's character and philosophy and one of the many reasons the guy is a total douche. Dominate the opponent to the point of embarrassment and humiliation , classless. Just like the fan base. :bad: Meano's day is coming.

Then maybe Texas should have played better not to lose by 50. They are certainly a talented team even without Enempkali.

I'd love to see Tennessee beat a solid team like Texas by 50.

You are wrong. No coach is going to slack off during the tournament.

I've been holding off posting because it would only be perpetuating the object of the OP.
He's a troll who is just looking to cause a commotion. Do not feed the trolls.

PS. I wouldn't bring up margin of victory as an indication of trying to embarrass the opposition. 12/3/14 UT 111-SFU 44. There are a lot of mismatches in WCBB. You can slow the ball down and substitute but you can't ask your team to miss shots.

And the talent discrepancy between UT-SFU is way more than Conn-TX

No sportsmanship in today's world, that's the point.

I think that any honest fan knows that your team is head and shoulders above the rest of the field.
Only team I see possibly playing you within double figures is Notre Dame and that's doubtful.
LV fans are just hoping against hope to raise our talent level to Uconns and start beating ur Yankee behinds again ( said in southern kindness jest...lol).

I didn't think daddychocs post was rubbing anything in. What uconn did to Texas was a first in sweet 16 history. Quite an achievement. Besides, he congratulated us on our comeback win and it was sincere. I've followed his posts over on the boneyard and I've never seen him/her take pot shots at our program.

I just wonder how we would be able to hang with uconn other than wishing they have a bad shooting night. I was thinking maybe if they slow it down, WAY down and use almost the whole shot clock on each possession.

Yea Choc is one of the "good" bad guys from the northern empire. Lol I don't see anything wrong with his post either but to start a thread about it?? Idk about that move...its like his agenda was to directly come stir the pot with this thread. UCONNs domination was discussed in other threads...and a true poster would have noticed that at first. If you truely come to this board to discuss WCB then you come and sift through threads to see what the discussion is about...he would have found all the UCONN post...instead he came and quickly made a thread wanting us to kiss UCONN's a**....hell I had already kissed it in another thread lol

I think we have to be realistic. We can have a more honest discussion if Harrison, Jones, and Russell were suited up. Without them, this would be a really one sided game.

Stewart and Stokes would be able to bottle up Graves with little problem. Their size would be too much for Bashaara to handle. Tuck and Burdick would cancel each other out, but that hurts Tennessee more than UConn. Tuck is strong, athletic and tall enough to not let Cierra rack up the offensive rebounds, and that limits possessions.

Since they can guard the posts one on one, then they don't have to sag into the paint and can face guard Tennessee's perimeter game. That will make it hard for Ariel to get open looks, and Carter/Reynolds are too unreliable to carry the offensive load. Tennessee will have a very hard time scoring.

On defense, Graves needs to be able to guard Stewart without fouling, and will need help defense. Stewart is a good passer, and she will find KML or Jefferson for open threes. Even if Carter is guarding KML, she will score...if not on the perimeter, then she will plant her big butt in the paint and post up all night long.

My belief is if both teams played their normal games, then Tennessee would get slaughtered. They are missing too many post players and almost all of their size. I think UConn wins by 40.

That's why we have to hope that UConn doesn't shoot the ball well. If they continue playing at their current clip, then Tennessee has zero chance.

Realistic post! I agree 100%....without Russell, Harrison, and Jones....it could honestly go the route of the Texas game and knowing Geno, more than likely a little worse.

No team is going to gain any credibility for beating a injury decimated team. If it happens, that will not be the Narrative that the media, and the team that plays in the Nowhere Man Conference, attach to it, but they know what the reality is.

Notre Dame and South Carolina are the main competitors to UConn, not Tennessee...with or without Harrison. I guarantee that UConn nor the media would think anything differently.

Next season is a different story, but let's not pretend that Tennessee was ever anything but a big underdog to UConn this year no matter which players were suited up.

If DaddyChoc's intentions are to congratulate the Lady Vols for their accomplishments I do not have an issue with that, however, if it is to piss off Lady Vol fans that is a whole different ball game. I would question a person's mentality if his soul plans are to brag about his team. For one thing it is ignorant if he really thinks that we care about how many points UCONN beats anybody by. If I were in his shoes I would have not entitled his thread as he did. I would have entitled it something like this, "Congrats to the Lady Vols for an Amazing Comback", just saying. I still wonder why a fan of another team would want to post on the Lady Vols website. I wonder if DaddyChoc would be doing that if the tables were turned.

Did I state otherwise? I said Ucon would not gain any credibility by defeating a injury decimated Lady Vols team.

And for the record, USC is NOT a main competitor of Ucon, since Ucon has already destroyed them.

Daddychoc's intentions are to do exactly what he did: Open the door, yell UCONN at the top of his voice, then run away and laugh his rear off over it. For those of you who think he's a "good guy", then you don't know his pattern. His pattern over the last 7 or 8 years is exactly what he did here.

You are correct. I now have him on IGNORE with the rest of the Graveyard crew.
