I know this is the Lady Vols board but geesh it is "March Madness and all game (you would think) should be up for discussion. (unless I missed it, and I apologize) I understand the "hate" "rivalry" "the violations" "the accusations) etc but Women's Basketball need as much exposure as it can possibly get.
Thanks for your time, enjoy your day!
PS - I didnt see the "comeback" but read about it and it sure sounded spectacular, congrats!
Enjoy the rest of the ride
A 50 point blow out is indicative of aurienema's character and philosophy and one of the many reasons the guy is a total douche. Dominate the opponent to the point of embarrassment and humiliation , classless. Just like the fan base. :bad: Meano's day is coming.

I've been holding off posting because it would only be perpetuating the object of the OP.
He's a troll who is just looking to cause a commotion. Do not feed the trolls.
PS. I wouldn't bring up margin of victory as an indication of trying to embarrass the opposition. 12/3/14 UT 111-SFU 44. There are a lot of mismatches in WCBB. You can slow the ball down and substitute but you can't ask your team to miss shots.

I didn't think daddychocs post was rubbing anything in. What uconn did to Texas was a first in sweet 16 history. Quite an achievement. Besides, he congratulated us on our comeback win and it was sincere. I've followed his posts over on the boneyard and I've never seen him/her take pot shots at our program.
I just wonder how we would be able to hang with uconn other than wishing they have a bad shooting night. I was thinking maybe if they slow it down, WAY down and use almost the whole shot clock on each possession.

I think we have to be realistic. We can have a more honest discussion if Harrison, Jones, and Russell were suited up. Without them, this would be a really one sided game.
Stewart and Stokes would be able to bottle up Graves with little problem. Their size would be too much for Bashaara to handle. Tuck and Burdick would cancel each other out, but that hurts Tennessee more than UConn. Tuck is strong, athletic and tall enough to not let Cierra rack up the offensive rebounds, and that limits possessions.
Since they can guard the posts one on one, then they don't have to sag into the paint and can face guard Tennessee's perimeter game. That will make it hard for Ariel to get open looks, and Carter/Reynolds are too unreliable to carry the offensive load. Tennessee will have a very hard time scoring.
On defense, Graves needs to be able to guard Stewart without fouling, and will need help defense. Stewart is a good passer, and she will find KML or Jefferson for open threes. Even if Carter is guarding KML, she will score...if not on the perimeter, then she will plant her big butt in the paint and post up all night long.
My belief is if both teams played their normal games, then Tennessee would get slaughtered. They are missing too many post players and almost all of their size. I think UConn wins by 40.
That's why we have to hope that UConn doesn't shoot the ball well. If they continue playing at their current clip, then Tennessee has zero chance.
No team is going to gain any credibility for beating a injury decimated team. If it happens, that will not be the Narrative that the media, and the team that plays in the Nowhere Man Conference, attach to it, but they know what the reality is.
Notre Dame and South Carolina are the main competitors to UConn, not Tennessee...with or without Harrison. I guarantee that UConn nor the media would think anything differently.
Next season is a different story, but let's not pretend that Tennessee was ever anything but a big underdog to UConn this year no matter which players were suited up.
Daddychoc's intentions are to do exactly what he did: Open the door, yell UCONN at the top of his voice, then run away and laugh his rear off over it. For those of you who think he's a "good guy", then you don't know his pattern. His pattern over the last 7 or 8 years is exactly what he did here.
