Surprised no one cares about this. A five star that some people have said we were a lock for, but Pearl lost him by slow playing him.

I care... I wish we would have shown him a little more interest so we could have re-evaluated him and had at least a little bit of a shot to land him (if CBP liked him). I understand Pearl didn't like him the first weekend he saw him play... he is going to see Craft again, he should have at least gave Siebert another shot. Now we have no shot.

Saw him a couple of years ago and was underwhelmed. Talked to multiple coaches who have evaluated him this summer and they indicated nothing has changed. He's a good mid major prospect. Anyone expecting him to be anything else is setting themselves up for disappointment.

I play ball against Siebert. He is pretty good, but not all he is hyped up to be. He has a shot and that is it.

How good are the Flyers going to be this season, 09? The A-10 is down. They should be able to do some damage.

Flyers should have a pretty good season. The schedule is as weak as can be which is a disappointment, but after the Pitt debacle, no major team will even think twice about coming into the "Dayton Decibel Dungeon". The biggest weakness this year will be at PG. London Warren has no shot, a great defender, but wayy too erratic at times. Watch for Christ Wright to become a household name and have a great season now that he is healthy.

The downfall to this, is that Xavier has a VERY good incoming class. X is going to be good as always and should have no problem winning the A-10 with the exception of the battle of I-75 games against the Flyers.

Temple is going to be really good. St. Louis, St. Joe's, and UMASS will also be competitive. X is far from being a prohibitive favorite.

That is what makes the A-10 an interesting "mid-major" conference to watch. Temple should be good and UMASS is back on the rise with Travis Ford on the sidelines.

Travis Ford is at Oklahoma State. Derek Kellogg is now at UMASS.

Damn, that is right. I totally forgot, thanks for correcting me. Ford is a good coach, and we will see what he does at a major program like Ok state.

I'm not sold on Ford. My guess is that he ends up being little to no upgrade over Sean Sutton.

If Ford doesn't cut it, we all know that Boone Pickens will have someone new in there quickly.

I am not buying that he is highly overrated. Ohio State has recruited nothing but studs lately, why would they be pushing hard for this guy if he blows? They can get almost anyone they want. Mid-major? I highly doubt it.

How many 5-stars is Jerry Meyer wrong on per year? Like 1-2?

2/25 = 8%... pretty unlikely that he is that overrated.

He is overrated as hell on Rivals. How do I know? Because Rivals sucks.
