Tide...what is wrong is engaging recruits at your alma mater. It has been said by CLK that Rubio went in to see old acquaintances which is permitted by the rules if you would take a moment to read the post above yours. Just wanted to let you know that the more that comes out on this, the more this thread is not necessary. I regret starting it. Simply take a moment and read what LWS put up about the exerpts and you will see.

LWS posted a few days ago. May have been TOS. Sorry if it was. It explained boosters, rules, alums of high schools and pre existing relationships. Great info. Searched for it here and didn't find.

LWSVOL on the other site (TOS). LWS is a member over here too. Boosters = club. Can't make contact if you donate money to athletic dept. There are specifics that pre existing relationships can still happen but you can't recruit. If a recruit "bumps" or happens onto a coach (scenario here) then they say hi and thats it type of rules. Wish I could find it. Great read and shows that this is really just a check up on someone tattling. No intention of rules breaking from what has been reported. I think NCAA is using this as an opportunity to look at elec media. Going to take all that $$$ from the bowls and tourneys to pay enough people to police that stuff.
