Not Many Solutions To Fix Our Bad OL

Boulware

Jones

That's the answer. Recruit over the current guys long term.

Short term, I really wish they would go with more short, quick passing like Cutcliffe did in his second tour of duty or Cheney did.

I refer to this as the chuck and duck offense.

I have a solution.. It's the bye week for the Bronco's. Have Colquitt fly in and kick each member of the OL in the balls. That may change their results on the field

You're making the assumption they have balls.

Haven't really seen prove of that yet despite their QB's being treated like pinatas.

They will redshirt Blair. We have some great new OL talent coming in 15'. We will be better next year and by 16' we should be in good shape.

Great? They have 3 if you scratch Hall (Achilles).
Jones is the highest rated and I don't think he has the feet to play tackle. Crowder has been a huge dissapointment. Weissman was supposed to be all that and he hasn't cracked a start.

But the damn OC needs to quit assuming the qb has all day to stand back there.

Another part of the solution, at least for our freshmen who are starting out of necessity, is additional time spent in a college strength and conditioning program. There typically is a world of difference in the physical strength and maturity of a true freshman as opposed to a junior or senior starter.

We have three new 4star OL in 15 (not counting Hall). Jones is in the Rivals top 100. You may not think Jones has the feet but ill take CBJ's assessment of this highly ranked recruit over you foot critique. We will be fine in 2016.

The line is actually getting better. More experience is the only thing that will solve this. Do we need to recruit more depth? Of course! But, as the year continues on, I think we will all see a drastic improvement.

Personally, I would settle for making the assumption, but if you feel some deep desire to see
them, I guess you could set up in the shower area.
You know, whatever you usually do.

Or, Hurd to quarterback...

We actually had a big gain running Hurd at wildcat... might've been called back. But I think we should do more of it.

Also he broke some nice runs off of the delayed draw handoff. Like to see a bit more of that too.
